Meatloaf

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Now I love an extra saucy meatloaf glaze, like obsessed okay! So, I double it and Iā€™m not ashamed.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs ground beef

  • 1 small yellow onion, grated

  • 2 eggs

  • 3/4 C milk

  • 1/2 C breadcrumbs

  • 2 TBSP snipped parsley

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp ground sage

  • pinch of pepper

Sauce Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup ketchup

  • 4 TBSP brown sugar

  • 2 tsp dry mustard

Instructions:

  • Combine eggs with milk and stir in crumbs, onion, parsley, salt, sage and a pinch of pepper.

  • Add beef and mix well. I get right in there with my hands to mix to get it incorporated well.

  • I use a 9x13 pan and actually spread the meat mixture to cover the entire baking dish.

  • Bake in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

  • While that is baking, combine the sauce ingredients and set aside.

  • After 50 minutes, spoon off the excess fat and spread the sauce mixture evenly over the meat.

  • Return to oven for 10 more minutes.
