Arreche Farms

We were certified organic for 12 years, supplying California Dairies with organic alfalfa, but in 2020 decided that it was no longer a certification that we wanted to hold. However it didn’t change how we do things. We still farm as if we were certified, with all organic materials and practices.

What do we grow?

We love farming and are not discouraged by changing crops. In fact, it is very beneficial to the ground to practice crop rotation. Some crops are well known for depleting specific nutrients from the ground. So by rotating crops, we are able to replenish the ground with what it needs.

Popular crops that we are always growing are alfalfa, wheat, barley, and grass.
